Hook: TMC 2487 #10-12

Thread: Black 6/0

Ribbing: Green midge or larvae lace (some use copper wire over the ribbing as well)

Thorax: Peacock herl or black dubbing

Beard: Strands of peacock herl

Head: Gold or copper bead/black krystal flash

Comments: This is also an effective early season nymph.  It is obviously effective in areas that have good caddis hatches, but it can also be productive due to the bead head attractor.  I find that this is turning into a year round pattern as well.  This can also be fished as the dropper on a two nymph system, or on a dry and dropper system.
