Hook: TMC 3769 (#14-18)

Tail: Lemon wood duck fibers

Abdomen: Pheasant tail fibers

Rib: Fine copper wire

Wing case: Strands of black krystal flash

Thorax: Awesome Possum (olive, rust, gray, brown) - many color options and choice of materials here

This is just like a regular pheasant tail only the materials have changed slightly.  The beauty of this pattern, other than it catches fish is that you can substitute materials as you see fit.  I feel this fly is particularly good early on in April through June, and the smller sizes prove useful in the later summer months.
