Hook: Mustad 3906 (#14-22)

Thread: Olive 8/0

Weight: Strip of non-lead wire under thorax

Tail: Medium dun hackle fibers

Abdomen: Olive dubbing

Thorax: Same olive dubbing only thicker

Wing: Clear antron fibers tied at 45degree angle

Hackle: Medium dun hackle fibers (beard style)

Comments: This fly is great for when a BWO hatch is petering out.  Fish it dead drift behind logs, rocks etc. or cast down and across and fish it as a wet.  I've had the water literally boiling with fish behind this fly as I twitched it back against the current.

By the way, I didn't tie my swap flies on the 3906 - didn't have any that small - tied them on a Tiemco 100 BL so it won't sink as well without a small shot crimped on ahead of it.
