October 28, 2024: virtually all of southeast Minnesota is closed for the remainder of the 2024 season - there are some park and in town stretches that are open for catch-and-release angling year round. The winter season kicks off January 1, 2025 for catch-and-release fishing.

In the meantime, archery, pheasants, and tying flies are on the docket.
